Privacy for big groups in a stunning setting...Occupying a site in a commanding position right at the front of the village of Canar, with uninterrupted views high above the Orgiva valley towards the Mediterranean, Casa Rif is a large village house separated into three self-contained apartments. The house is available for rental as a whole, making it a great venue for large parties of friends or family, while at the same time affording greater privacy for couples or smaller groups within the party in separate apartments. Or, each apartment can be rented on an individual basis - please check through the pages devoted to each apartment to see which combination is most suitable for your holiday. We offer generous discounts for bookings of more than one apartment, and also for bookings of 2 weeks or more.

General Facilties
We provide guests with all bed linen and towels. All the apartments of Casa Rif have independent Satellite television, DVD players (along with a selection of DVDs) and a selection of games and books.
We provide copies of The Rough Guide to Andalucia, along with Jeremy Rabjohn's excellent "Holiday Walks in The Alpujarra" and detailed walking maps of the region.
Heating in winter for all apartments is provided by oil-filled radiators, and La Estrella also has a wood-burning stove (wood for which is provided, free of charge).
Additionally, we provide guests with free use of mountain bikes - but don't forget, if you go down the mountain, you have to get back up again!Rental rates for Casa Rif(rental rates are per week, in Euros)

The prices above include approximately a 15% discount on the cumulative weekly prices for each individual apartment. A further 10% discount is available for bookings of the whole house for 2 weeks or more.
Casa Rif, or any individual apartment may be booked together with our other townhouse in Canar, El Tinao. Please contact us for a price and availability.Good to know... Canar has 3 bars serving tapas and traditional Alpujarran meals, an excellent grocers (which is even open on Sundays!) and a pharmacy.
The GR7 walking route runs right through the village, while high up in the Sierra Nevada above the village, the landscape changes dramatically to pine forest, with barbecue equipment for picnics.
Orgiva is only 10 minutes away by car, with a variety of bars, cafes and restaurants, several banks, and a weekly market on Thursdays.
