The ski resort of "Solynieve" (sun and snow) in The Sierra Nevada is just over an hour from Canar, or 2 hours from The Mill. The season usually runs from late November to May.
You really can ski in the morning and sunbathe in the afternoon! |
| Horse riding is popular with many of our guests, and you don't need to be an experienced rider to spend a couple of hours off the beaten track and experience The Alpujarra from a different perspective. |

If the views from altitudes of over 1200m aren't quite enough for you, paragliding is available both from The Alpujarra and The Costa Tropical. |
| No visit to the region would be complete without a visit to the historic Alhambra Palace and Generalife gardens in Granada. |
